BENEFITS OF HARDWOOD FLOORS
Are you debating what type of flooring option is right for you?
Hardwood floors provide superior benefits over non-wood options.
SOLID HARDWOOD
Solid Hardwood Flooring is the best money can buy, giving superior strength and durability of 100% natural wood. The beauty and investment is unparalleled by any other flooring option. The biggest benefit of solid hardwood flooring is the capacity of being refinished again and again, with the ability of being completely resurfaced and be brought back to brand new.
ENGINEERED HARDWOOD
Engineered Hardwood flooring a great alternative to solid hardwood. Engineered hardwood is real hardwood, it’s constructed differently through the process it’s created. It’s constructed to be stronger and structurally sounding than solid wood and can be installed below grade and direct to concrete.
LAMINATE HARDWOOD
Laminate hardwood flooring is perfect for those who want the look and feel of real wood but on a budget. Laminate hardwood features the same textures, stains and graining as real wood. One of the main differences between laminate, engineered, or solid wood is the lifespan of these flooring options. The typical lifespan of solid and engineered wood will last 20-100 years (depending on maintenance), opposed to laminate which tends to last up to 20 years. Although not able to refinish laminate wood, maintaining laminate wood is easier.
WOOD STAIRCASE INSTALLATION AND REFINISHING:

We can customize your landing, spindles, handrails, and risers to match perfectly with your existing decor. We will work with you to create a stunning staircase to enhance your home or office.
STRESSING AND HAND SCRAPING:
Are you looking for that vintage feel in your hardwood floors? We offer two options to give your home a more natural and vintage appearance. Distressed wood flooring give a unique and rustic appearance that feature a variety of nicks and scrapes that mimic what was found in the hand cut flooring of old farmhouses and warehouses. Hand scraping wood is similar to distressed flooring but features only manual imperfections that occur by hand, allowing the developer to create a unique appearance in the flooring.
1,2,3 Floors can create that rustic finish you are searching for with distressed or hand scraped wood.

VINYL COMPOSITION TILE ("VCT") - Flooring for high traffic areas.
VCT flooring is commonly used in commercial applications: churches, schools, cafeterias, hospitals and museums due to its durability. For this reason it is also installed in residential bathrooms, kitchens, basements and other high traffic rooms that have a smooth, leveled sub- floor. VCT is favored because of its low cost, durability, ease of installation and low maintenance. If properly installed VCT tiles can be easily removed and replaced should damage occur. VCT tile comes in a variety of colors and some manufacturers even create tile resembling wood, stone, terrazzo and concrete as well.

RUBBER TILE & SHEET GOODS
Rubber tiles and sheet goods are made from synthetic rubber and come in ribbed, coin or other raised patterns in a wide range of colors and styles. The "GREEN" aspects of rubber include that it contains no PVC and can be easily recycled. In fact, some rubber flooring materials are made by reclaiming our mountains of unused automobile tires.
The Benefits of Rubber are Numerous:
-Chemical Resistance
-Infection Control - Low Maintenance - Slip Resistance - Stain Resistant -Optimal Acoustics
- Resilience
LINOLEUM - Made entirely or renewable raw materials: linseed oil, cork powders, tree resin, wood flour and clay pigments with jute backing. Linoleum is relatively easy to maintain giving you a quiet, warm and cushioned surface underfoot. Linoleum's lengthly lifecycle, inherent coloration and durability presents an excellent floor for many environments.
CORK - A pure, natural material that does not out-gas or shed micro-fibers -- wonderful for you indoor air quality. It comes from a tree whose bark splits naturally every 9 to 15 years and can be safely harvested, causing no harm to the tree. Cork flooring is not only warm to walk on and extremely quiet with natural sound-absorbing qualities but also hypoallergenic and naturally resistant to mold and mildew. Installation is similar to that of hardwood flooring and cork flooring can be finished off with urethane, vinyl, wax or oil.
LAMINATE - This flooring can give you the elegant look of hardwood without the expense. For this reason Laminate Flooring is a hugely popular home remodeling project choice within the New York area. Laminate is extremely durable and comes in literally hundreds of different styles and designs. Laminate can be installed in almost any room in your home. However, is not recommended for bathrooms or other moisture prone areas.
